Perles d’Onyx

Name: Perles d’Onyx
Brand: Nyxora
SKU: NS-011

Perles d’Onyx is a floor lamp that recalls a column woven from pearls, with eighteen onyx spheres arranged in three columns and six rows beneath a dome shade.

Story

Perles is the French word for pearls. In the lower section of the floor lamp, eighteen Ø11 cm onyx spheres come together in three columns and six rows. This sphere module reaches 33 cm in width and 66 cm in height. From the top of the module, a Ø2.5 cm metal body rises 66 cm and carries the Ø52 cm dome shade. Brass-plated details add a warm glow to the gray and rust-toned stone. In restaurants, hotel lobbies, and classic living rooms, Perles leaves a timeless impression.

Stone: Natural Onyx

Onyx is a translucent natural stone formed as calcium carbonate carried by spring waters settles, layer upon layer, over thousands of years. This structure allows light to pass through the stone. The veining and color gradation of each block belong to that piece alone. When the lamp is lit, this pattern is illuminated from within and comes into view. The spheres of Perles use an onyx with veins in gray, rust, and cream tones.

Light

The lamp takes an E27 bulb. The dome shade directs the light downward, casting a soft reading light over the seating area. When lit, the onyx spheres also glow from within. Gray-toned when unlit, the spheres turn honey and amber.

Care and use

A soft, dry microfiber cloth is all it needs. Do not use liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasives. Place the floor lamp on a flat, stable surface. To protect the stone’s natural texture, keep the lamp out of direct sunlight. We recommend a warm white (2700 K) LED bulb. Cool white light distorts the stone’s color gradations.

Every Nyxora piece is handmade from natural stone in our Izmir atelier. Veining and color tone may differ from the images. The piece you own is the only one of its kind.

CAREWhich bulb do you recommend?

We recommend a warm white 2700 K LED bulb. Socket type and maximum wattage vary by model; you will find this information in the Specifications section of the product page and in the technical drawing. Cool white light distorts the natural color gradations of the stone.
