Orbe d’Onyx is a sculptural lighting piece made in two sizes, for table and floor, with a decorative glass globe resting on stacked orange onyx discs.

Story

Orbe is the French word for orb. Each disc measures Ø18.5 cm across and 4.5 cm thick, with softly rounded edges. Five discs are stacked in the small size and eleven in the large. At the top of the column sit an aged gold-toned brass socket and a Ø12 cm decorative glass globe bulb. Used together, the two sizes create a composition of light at different heights. In living room corners, beside console tables, and in bedrooms, Orbe stands like a warm sculpture.

Stone: Orange Onyx

Orange onyx, with warm yellow and orange bands broken by gray-blue transitions, is one of the onyx varieties with the most striking relationship to light. When the lamp is lit, its translucent calcite layers glow from within like a sunset. When it is off, the stone becomes a sculpture with a soft, sedimentary texture.

Light

The light comes from the decorative glass globe bulb in an E27 socket at the top. When lit, the onyx discs also glow warmly, and the yellow-orange bands of the orange onyx come forward. A clear cable runs down to the floor without disturbing the look of the stone.

Care and use

A soft, dry microfiber cloth is all it needs. Do not use liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasives. Place the lamp on a flat, stable surface. To protect the stone’s natural texture, keep the lamp out of direct sunlight. Before changing the glass globe bulb, unplug the lamp and let the bulb cool down.

CAREHow do I clean natural onyx?

Simply wipe it with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasives. If a mark appears, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, then buff with a dry one.

To protect the natural texture of the onyx, keep the lamp out of direct sunlight.

CAREWhich bulb do you recommend?

We recommend a warm white 2700 K LED bulb. Socket type and maximum wattage vary by model; you will find this information in the Specifications section of the product page and in the technical drawing. Cool white light distorts the natural color gradations of the stone.

Your order ships from the studio within 5–12 days, and shipping is free across Türkiye. You are kept informed at every stage.

RETURNSWhat are the return conditions?

We accept returns only when a product reaches you broken, cracked, or damaged in transit. Otherwise, no returns or exchanges are accepted.

Report the damage to studio@nyxora.lighting within 48 hours of delivery, with your order number and photographs of the damage; we will manage the return process. Natural variations in the veining, color, and tone of onyx are not considered defects.
