Maison Bleu d’Onyx unites the aesthetic of a French country house with natural stone, pairing a body of stacked honey onyx cubes and spheres with a blue toile de Jouy shade.

Story

Maison Bleu was inspired by the morning room of a country house in Provence, with its blue-and-white toile fabrics, polished wood, and soft light spilling in through the window. Rather than carving the body from a single piece, we built it as a rhythm, stacking cubes and spheres one after another like stones along a garden path. When the warm tone of honey onyx meets the blue of the shade, the lamp becomes a pastoral painting. Lit, the stone spheres glow from within, and the patterned shade leaves the light of a country evening in the room.

Stone: Honey Onyx

Quarried in Afyonkarahisar, honey onyx forms as calcium carbonate carried by spring waters settles, very slowly, over thousands of years. This slow formation gives the stone a crystalline, translucent body: it does not reflect light but lets it pass through. The soft gradations of veining across its honey-colored ground never repeat from one block to the next, and when the lamp is lit, they turn a warm amber.

Light

The toile de Jouy shade filters the light, gently warm and diffused; the honey onyx cubes and spheres, lit from within, turn the body into a column of lanterns. Designed for bedrooms and classic living rooms.

Care

A soft, dry microfiber cloth is all it needs. Do not use liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasives. To protect the natural texture of the stone, keep the lamp out of direct sunlight. We recommend a warm white (2700 K) LED bulb; cool white light distorts the stone’s color gradations.

CAREHow do I clean natural onyx?

Simply wipe it with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasives. If a mark appears, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, then buff with a dry one.

RETURNSWhat are the return conditions?

We accept returns only when a product reaches you broken, cracked, or damaged in transit. Otherwise, no returns or exchanges are accepted.

Report the damage to studio@nyxora.lighting within 48 hours of delivery, with your order number and photographs of the damage; we will manage the return process. Natural variations in the veining, color, and tone of onyx are not considered defects.
