With this floor lamp, we brought the parasol form of our table lamp and wall sconce models to full height. The Ø52 cm shade is made of onyx panels set within a brass framework. A brass-plated tube descends from beneath the shade, extending 90 cm, and joins an onyx lower body 30 cm tall. A Ø32 cm base gives the lamp a firm footing on the floor. In Parisian-style living rooms, cafés, and hotel lobbies, Ombrelle creates the effect of stage lighting.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eStone: Natural Onyx\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eOnyx is a translucent natural stone formed as calcium carbonate carried by spring waters settles, layer upon layer, over thousands of years. This structure allows light to pass through the stone. The veining and color gradation of each block belong to that piece alone. When the lamp is lit, this pattern is illuminated from within and comes into view. The Ombrelle floor lamp uses an onyx with gray and dark-toned veins on a cream ground.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eLight\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe lamp has an E27 socket, and an LED bulb of up to 15 W is recommended. The light passes through the onyx panels and casts the shadows of the veins onto the surrounding surfaces. The onyx lower body is also lit from within, adding a second point of light to the floor lamp.
